Sekar (name changed), 12 years, joined Rescue this month. Sekar’s father is blind in both eyes. His parents are very poor and have 3 children. They are in a very difficult situation and are unable to give a good education to their children as they struggle to meet their basic needs. Sekar’s father was also concerned about Sekar as he also was surrounded by bad, influential friends so he requested that Sekar’s be allowed to stay at the Rescue Home. Sekar is now in 7th standard in an English medium school. He desires to become a soldier.
